Luis is a developer, student, and researcher with an interest in pervasive games and new styles of interactions for games
on mobile phones. You can see an example of the innovative interactions he likes to explore in his release of AccelerInvaders, an adaptation of the classic Space Invaders game controlled by the accelerometer in the N95 and other S60 devices. You may
know Luis from his Forum Nokia Blog, from his contribution to the Forum Nokia Wiki, or from his posts on the Forum Nokia DiBo (as lpvalente ). Or you may have studied with him at the Universidade Veiga de Almeida (where he teaches) or at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro where he is a PhD student on track to receive his degree in 2011.

The one-year membership in the Forum Nokia Champion reward program entitles honorees to take advantage of benefits accessible exclusively to Forum Nokia Champions.
Forum Nokia Champions earn recognition for having outstanding expertise in certain Forum Nokia-related areas, participating in various online and offline activities, and sharing and showcasing their knowledge with other Forum Nokia members. Forum Nokia Champions are from all regions of the world, have a variety of backgrounds, and are experts in wide-ranging mobile-development areas.
